Spring boarding

I am a big fan of spring boarding. I think that there is a for sure a different vibe up on the mountain. You can just have a tee on or a hoodie. Sometimes the snow gets too slushly, but overall I think people enjoy it. It kind of sucks knowing that the season is coming to an end, but I think those people who had a good season are satisfied. The snowboarding culture is still there when the season ends. I know a lot of boarders skate in the summer. Personallly skating isint my thing, but i have a lot of friends who do, and I don't mind hanging out at the parks. I think the skateboarding world and the snowboarding world are pretty similar, and a lot of people do both.

  1. I love this post! I am a big fan of spring boarding as well! It's definitely one of the best times to go, especially on a bluebird day. I love the language of snowboarders.
I've attempted to even get on a skateboard and that never worked for me. I've always wanted to longboard as well, but I haven't because I've always heard of the dangers of longboading. I know boarding in general is a risky sport, but landing on snow makes me feel a lot better and safer than on concrete. Still hurts, but I'd rather land in snow.

  2. Spring riding is where it's at! The half pipe is tons more forgiving and it feels like you can go bigger without worrying about getting thrashed if you catch an edge.
